Uprising - A Response to the NBC Miniseries

• The Ghetto uprising was honorable
• The men and women who fought are best served by the truth.
• Was their sacrifice not enough? Was their bravery not enough?
• Why does this silly comparison have to be made?

For 58 years the world has honored them, but now some entity in NBC marketing is not satisfied with the heroic deeds of the Ghetto fighters, and so NBC has concocted a promotional campaign that includes this:

... they held off the German army longer than the entire country of Poland,
... while lighting the torch for resistance in the occupied territories.

That's a peculiar suggestion, and a disservice to history.
